The aim of Lightweight was to make this exclusive spoked wheel even lighter and more rigid, and, at the same time, to consistently improve its braking performance and aerodynamics. A newly devised layered structure allows to further optimise the application of fibres and resin. And Lightweight developed a completely new hub for the front wheel into the bargain. This allows to reduce the weight of the MEILENSTEIN OBERMAYER by a total of 25 grams – while at the same time doubling its rigidity value. For you, this means: even less inert mass, even more cutting-edge technology and thus agility in a completely new dimension. In a nutshell: one of the lightest and most rigid carbon wheels on the planet.
The 28 inch carbon wheels are delivered with one set of Lightweight quick releases, one set of Lightweight brake pads and aluminium valve extensions as well as a Lightweight wheel bag for two wheels. The rear wheel is equipped with a DT Swiss hub and an easily changeable rotor for Campagnolo 9/10/11-speed or for Shimano 9/10/11-speed and SRAM 10/11-speed. The new Lightweight front hub offers more compatibility with narrow forks. With laminated magnet (for bike computer) and individually numbered read-only microchip (important for the registration and Wheel Protection) in every wheel.
